Cesar Guevara is a 2D and 3D artist in the New York City area.

My commitment to an artistic career began in 2005 at St. John’s University, where my drawing hobby took a sharp turn into a professional world. Before eventually earning my BFA in Illustration at St. John’s, I developed a strong foundation in all traditional art mediums. My time at St John’s instilled the principles and work ethic necessary to continue my career post graduation and served as an essential factor when making the transition into the digital art world.

In 2012 I earned my Masters in Computer art from the School of Visual Arts. Grad School was my introduction to the vast variety of digital artwork. It offered the opportunity to push the boundaries of my work and make a connection from 2D art to 3D art and all the possibilities that offers.

Most Recently, I interned and freelanced at Framestore, NY, as an asset modeler and look development artist. My time at Framestore served as a great learning experience in a professional pipeline/workflow, increased my desire to become a part of the VFX community and continue to grow along with the industry.
